Hatch Stamping Company is looking for an Organizational Development Specialist. The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities to increase the organization's effectiveness by efficiently utilizing and managing its resources and analyzing business operations and processes, interviewing personnel to identify developmental needs, and reporting the impact of the interventions to executives and senior management.
Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).
· Analyze business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources to include root cause and gap analysis for organizational constraints.
· Design and implement a variety of developmental initiatives, and improvement initiatives including action plans, processes, programs, and training materials.
· Interview personnel and facilitate targeted skills development initiatives.
· Consult with the human resources department to guide the utilization, development, or hiring of personnel.
· Lead business optimization initiatives by conducting individual or group training sessions for personnel.
· Contribute to the restructuring of departments to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives.
· Optimize personnel utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental cooperation.
· Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction.
· Advise executives and senior managers and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions for identified challenges.
· Document processes and present progress reports to executives and senior managers.
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Behavioral Sciences, Business or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
· A minimum of 5 years of experience as an organizational development specialist in a related industry with proven, demonstratable successes in leading the development, implementation, and sustainment of large-scale change management initiatives resulting in targeted organizational improvements and outcomes.
· Extensive knowledge of skills development and capacity-building strategies.
· Advanced proficiency in office and business administration software.
· Exceptional interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
· Superb analytical and time-management skills.
