Outpatient Surgery Director jobs in Rochester, NH
Outpatient Surgery Director creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient surgical function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and physicians. Being an Outpatient Surgery Director monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Outpatient Surgery Director typically reports to top management. The Outpatient Surgery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Outpatient Surgery Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC), located in the Outpatient Care Center (OCC), provides safe, efficient, and family focused care to the community. It is comprised of 4 operating rooms and an admission and recovery facility. Patients cared for in this unit are able to be admitted and discharged on the same day of their procedure. Nursing staff work in a perioperative, team focused atmosphere for pre and post operative care of their patients.
Hours:
(3) 8 hour shifts, with one being an open ended 8 to “late” shift. The 8 hour shifts are 6:30AM-3:00PM, 7:30AM-4:00PM, or 8:00-4:30PM.
Requirements:
Cardio step down, O/P Surg Ctr. ICU, ENDO backgrounds preferred.
- RN license - N.H. state or any other compact state.
- ACLS certified or within 30 days of hire
- CPAN or CAPA certification preferred
- BSN preferred
