PACS Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems. Oversees equipment maintenance and systems testing, upgrading, and installing. Being a PACS Administrator acts as a liaison between the Radiology department and customers. Maintains positive vendor relationship. Additionally, PACS Administrator requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The PACS Administrator supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The preferred working location for this role is the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota; however, the individual may also work remotely within the US or onsite at another US-based Medtronic facility.

In this exciting role as a Clinical Research Program Manager in the Post Approval Clinical Surveillance Operating Unit, you will have the responsibility and authority to manage all aspects of clinical projects, studies, and/or portfolios in compliance with applicable domestic and international regulations, guidelines, and company standards. The Post Approval Clinical Surveillance Operating Unit conducts post market studies to evaluate performance, safety, and effectiveness for the lifetime of products and to satisfy applicable regulatory requirements. This position will be assigned to Cardiac Rhythm Therapies and will support hospital and clinics that submit data on these Medtronic products.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
• Establishes, implements, and manages clinical projects including the following activities: project planning and clinical study design development; collaborating with cross functional groups with varied functional expertise; establishing and monitoring clinical timelines and budgets, anticipating schedule impacts and adjusting project team activities as required.
• Build and maintain understanding of PACS products and service offerings
• Identify, recommend, and drive execution of approved process improvement initiatives to promote efficiencies
• Interact with functional leadership, project analysts, technical, and non-technical staff, and other partners to facilitate operation efficiencies
• Lead strategic planning, direction, and support to business development initiatives
• Advocate for the implementation, stewardship and support of processes and tools that increase quality and productivity and strengthen execution
• Develop, plan, communicate and deploy program schedules, activities to ensure timely completion
• Initiate and monitor progress of activities necessary for compliance against project phases and milestones
• Lead program execution to enable results and maintain commitments, including escalation to management for resolution of non-standard solutions
• Responsible for milestone and objective planning, establishing daily tasks necessary for successful program execution and driving progress
• Define and report metrics (scorecards) on program progress, implementation, and effectiveness; deliver management reporting and escalation when required
• Establish best practices across the department and other work-streams for developing, implementing, and maintaining program management processes
• All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System.
• Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree

• Previous Medtronic experience
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences/Public Health or related field
• Strong experience in project management
• Medical device experience
