PET Technologist is responsible for operating Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Requires registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A. Being a PET Technologist r. T.) or The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N. Additionally, PET Technologist m. T.C.B.). May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manage PET Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Job Title: Pet Bather
Duties:
- Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications
- Handle and restrain pets as necessary during bathing and grooming process
- Clean and sanitize grooming tools and equipment
- Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming needs
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) such as large dogs or bags of pet supplies
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new grooming techniques and styles
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
