PET Technologist is responsible for operating Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Requires registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A. Being a PET Technologist r. T.) or The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N. Additionally, PET Technologist m. T.C.B.). May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manage PET Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Chesapeake Medical Imaging, a reputable private radiology practice, is looking for a PET Technologist for our Towson and Glen Burnie locations. This position has the opportunity to cross-train in another modality for a multi-modality schedule as well as participate in groundbreaking research trials. This is a full-time, 40-hour position. The schedule for the position is 4-day, 10-hour shifts.
