Packaging Manager jobs in New Hampshire

Immediately seeking a Packager, 1st Shift in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time first shift position offering $17.60/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Work on assigned line to assist with the packaging of products by way of machine and/or hand packing
• Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations
• Set-up oncoming shift for successful run
• Perform any duties necessary to support the team
• Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with off-going employees
• Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements
• Train to operate pallet jack
• Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner

Requirements:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and complete manufacturing documentation completely
• Ability to effectively present information to other employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Must be able to organize work
• Must obey all safety rules

Hours: Monday-Friday, plus every third Saturday 6:00am-2:00pm
