Palletizer jobs in New York

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate palletizing equipment, such as palletizers, robotic arms, or hand pallet jacks, to stack and arrange products onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow production schedules, work orders, or instructions from supervisors to ensure timely completion of palletizing tasks.
• Inspect products for quality, damage, or defects, and ensure only acceptable items are palletized and shipped to customers.
• Monitor palletizing equipment and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions, escalating problems to maintenance or supervisors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including palletizing stations, conveyor belts, and storage areas, and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading pallets onto trucks or storage racks, using manual or powered equipment as required.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and coordination of palletizing activities.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and performance standards, and demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in palletizing or material handling roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to count and perform basic calculations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.16 - $23.07 per hour
