We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care

- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional development and continuous learning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines
- Oversee the coordination of home health services, hospice care, and other specialized programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, medical technology, and healthcare regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of home health, hospice care, and medical terminology
- Proficient in developing and implementing care plans for patients
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of nurses
- In-depth understanding of physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
