JOB OVERVIEW:

• Meeting and registering patients when they come for their appointments
• Entering all demographic and insurance information, for patients, into the computer
• Obtaining authorizations to ensure payment
• Verifying insurance eligibility for all patients
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles and past due balances
• Creating payment plans for patients
• Private pay collection follow-up

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and adapt.
• Ability to maintain working relationships with physicians and co-workers.
• Position requires a flexible work schedule.
