Payroll Administrator jobs in Fort Myers, FL

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing of all employee payroll, 401K, and benefits deductions, government payroll garnishments and court mandated subpoenas for all payroll withholding in accordance with payroll and accounting principles and FLSA regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review all timecards with appropriate approvals prior to payment and distributes by wire or hard check weekly.
• Maintain up to date Viewpoint payroll data base with each weekly payroll.
• Notify and process all Child Support, Garnishment and Court mandated subpoenas for payroll withholding.
• Submit all CCIP payrolls monthly as well as follow up to subcontractors for their payrolls.
• Process and submit Prevailing Wages weekly.
• Maintain documentation pertaining to prevailing Wages (folders, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Track and maintain timesheets weekly.
• Process all funding for payroll (child support, Empower, HSA, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor for which employee is capable of or qualified to perform.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Must have a minimum of three years Payroll experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at multi-discipline levels.
