Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Summary
Responsible for the comprehensive administration of ICU, In-House Registry, Staff Education, Nurse Practitioners, Agency staff and clinical project leadership as assigned. Shapes and interprets the philosophy and definition of nursing as it relates to short and long-term planning, program and staff development, resource and budget management, quality assurance, and systems utilization. Assumes 24-hour accountability for unit(s) operation. Oversees education and career progression for the entire hospital. Represents nursing leadership at various internal, medical staff and external meetings and activities as assigned. Assumes full responsibility for clinical leadership in absence of CNO. After one year of service, this position serves as a part of our CNO in training program.
