Payroll Supervisor jobs in Tuscaloosa, AL

Warren Averett is seeking a contract payroll professional for an "in office" assignment with an established company in Tuscaloosa, AL . Candidate must have experience with handling a weekly payroll for 300 employees.

Responsibilities

• Sole management of weekly payroll processing

• Work with employee's regarding questions about salary, payments and respond to any complaints

• Record and maintain employee records regarding payroll transactions

o Process other financial compensations or deductions (i.e.: annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes or worker's compensation)

o Produce reports to upper management upon request

o Collect and verify employee and timekeeping data by checking information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order

o Discuss employee payroll and benefit (BCBS, PTO and Accruals) changes with employee and coordinate HR

Requirements

• College degree, preferred

• Minimum of three years prior experience processing payroll

• Comfortable with communicating to employees of all levels and the ability to maintain the strictest of confidence

• Must be detail oriented and very organized with a team mindset

• Prior exposure to Paycom, preferred but not required
