Being a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor may hire, train, and evaluate new employees. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Essential Responsibilities :

Escalates calls to pharmacists for clinical inquiries and escalates grievances to supervisor.
Asks appropriate questions and use independent judgment within the scope of knowledge and authority to determine the type of appointment, appropriate provider, and urgency needed.
