    Phlebotomist - Clinical Laboratory - PSJHC Clinical Lab

    Under the supervision of the Manager or Assistant Manager", assists the laboratory technologist/MLT by performing semi-technical and clerical duties. Proficiently obtains blood samples from patients for testing, while at the same time maintaining an attitude of courtesy and professionalism. Work usually follows standard operating procedures with exceptions or unusual situations being referred to the supervisor.

    Shift Details: Full-time, Day, 40 hours a week

    Required Qualifications:

    • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification within 90 days of hire.
    • Minimal experience sufficient to acquire general familiarity with methods and terminology in commonplace work situations of the pathology field; usually interpreted as between six months and one year of experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • College courses in anatomy," physiology or other clinical sciences.
