Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine jobs in Oregon
Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. Being a Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine may assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Additionally, Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides pre- and postnatal care as needed. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Job Title: Locum – Physician - Emergency Medicine
Location: Hermiston, OR
Department: Emergency Department
Shifts - 12-hour Physician shifts 7a-7p plus night call
12-hour APP shifts 7p-7a
Daily census: 15-18
Summary:
A Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide
medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Diagnose
and treat a variety of medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses,
and emergencies
- Order
and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer
medications
- Initiate
and manage patient care plans
- Provide
education and counselling to patients and their families
- Work
collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Participate
in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Board-certified
or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- 3
years of experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong
clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment
to providing high-quality patient care
