Physician - Nuclear Medicine uses radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease. Monitors quality control of radionuclide preparation, administration and disposition, and ensures that all activities comply with the standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Being a Physician - Nuclear Medicine instructs and directs nuclear medicine technologists regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nuclear Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Job Title: Locum – Physician - Emergency Medicine
Location: Hermiston, OR
Department: Emergency Department
Shifts - 12-hour Physician shifts 7a-7p plus night call
12-hour APP shifts 7p-7a
Daily census: 15-18
Summary:
A Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide
medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Diagnose
and treat a variety of medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses,
and emergencies
- Order
and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer
medications
- Initiate
and manage patient care plans
- Provide
education and counselling to patients and their families
- Work
collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Participate
in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Board-certified
or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- 3
years of experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong
clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment
to providing high-quality patient care
