Pipefitter assembles and repairs pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures. Ensures proper placement, alignment, and operation according to blueprints and instructions. Being a Pipefitter requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Pipefitter works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
