Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Your expertise in fitting and/or welding, HVAC systems, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of these systems.

Responsibilities:

- Install and assemble piping systems, including cutting, threading, grooving, and welding pipes

- Fabricate pipe components using hand tools and machinery

- Weld pipes and fittings together using welding techniques

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layouts and specifications

- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and bending using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments

- Inspect and test installed piping systems to identify any leaks or malfunctions

- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate pipefitting activities

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role

- Proficient in fitting and/or welding techniques

- Knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical components

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations

- Excellent problem-solving abilities

- Attention to detail and precision in work

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
