Pipeline Technician jobs in South Dakota

Job Duties

• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances, codes and regulations, and all company policies, standards, specifications, and guidelines. 
• Conduct all activities in a safe, organized, and proficient manner. 
• Ensure all products produced meet or exceed quality standards. 
• Operate lab equipment and check sample measurements for accuracy. 
• Operate fork lift. 
• Check paperwork for accuracy. 
• Keep lab, QC work areas, and QC equipment clean and organized. 
• Perform and log required lab tests.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and maneuver at least 75 pounds.
• Must be able to climb, walk and use arms and hands to handle equipment and products
• Must be able to stand and work on ones feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to verbally communicate with other employees
• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language.

Other Requirements

• Must have strong math skills
• Must have experience with Word and Excel
• Must have a strong focus on safety, quality customer service, and productivity
• Must be punctual for work
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Must be able to operate a fork lift.
