JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supervising the Soft Count team in the Supervisor's absence, including the count of Table games drop, bill validator boxes, and all gaming and non-gaming revenue, as well as, other resort revenues.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Guest Service to ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and quality staff service.
2. Ensures compliance requirements are followed through Regulatory laws, WRC Employee Handbook, Department policy and procedures, codes, internal controls, etc.
3. Performs duties by authority delegated by Soft Count Supervisor.
4. Supervises staff on the shift in the Supervisor's absence and provides feedback to the Supervisor on any performance concerns.
5. Reviews with the Soft Count Supervisor/Controller, variances in the Table games drop, bill validator boxes, inside/outside revenue, and gaming/non-gaming revenue.
6. Instruct employees in the proper performance of duties and job training as needed.
7. Responsible for Time & Attendance in the Supervisor's absence.
8. Responsible for Sign in/out sheet and Daily Station Assignment/Supervisor Report sheet.
9. Promotes a clean, safe, healthy, and friendly work environment for employees. Promptly reports all concerns to the Supervisor.
10. Ensures operation of equipment, tools, materials, etc., are handled safely. Reports equipment/repair needs to Supervisor.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the Soft Count Supervisor or Controller.

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:

1. Soft-count team in the supervisor’s absence.

SIGNATORY ABILITY:

1. Table Games count sheets.
2. Revenue count sheets.
3. Key control log.
4. Personnel/payroll forms when appropriate.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

1. Soft Count Room - keys, boxes, equipment.
2. Bill validator box contents key.
3. Table Games box contents key.
4. Bill validator box cart.
5. Table Games box cart.
6. Emergency bill validator/Table Games box cart.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. One (1) year of Soft Count experience.

2. Detail-oriented and good with numbers and money.

3. Operate a 10-key adding machine.
4. High School Diploma or GED or Ten (10) years of experience.
5. Effective communication skills - enter data, verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
6. Stand for long periods at a workstation; 10-key work requiring repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers and occasionally walking throughout a smoke-filled environment.
7. Work under a restrictive schedule and in a confined space.
8. Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits
9. Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Soft-count lead experience.
