Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Specialist monitors and analyzes cost trends. May handle more complex plan design. Additionally, Plan Design Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities:
-Highly Knowledgeable in concrete based projects
- Highly skilled performance on all levels of concrete based construction tasks as needed
- Operate heavy equipment for construction projects, (excavator, skid steer and all equipment associated with demolition, landscaping and concrete
- Assist in concrete forming and pouring
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for construction projects
- Assist in new construction, remodeling and restoration projects_Residential and Commercial
Requirements:
- Previous experience, 5 years in a construction related field
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid licenses needed for equipment operation
- Proficiency in concrete forming and heavy equipment operation,
- Must be able to pull trailers to deliver equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
