    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a financial planning associate to join our firm. The ideal candidate would have financial services experience, and preferably hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. However, we would also be willing to assist in obtaining these licenses for the right person. Such an individual will desire working in a team-oriented independent RIA firm; will have involvement in all aspects of the business, learning and shaping the way we resource our advisors. Candidates that fit into our firm and culture will embrace technology, and enjoy a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Wealth Managers in managing client relationships, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and following up on action items.
    • Prepare and process client documentation, such as account openings, transfers, and investment transactions.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate client requests and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
    • Organization of gathered data and input into various financial planning software
    • Work closely with head of department to deliver high quality financial planning output to financial advisors
    • Work with advisors to clarify client goals and objectives, and help provide adjustments when needed
    • Tracking and reviewing of fee-based financial plans to ensure the plan satisfies the client agreement forms
    • Run investment research reports
    • Oversee the process for the collection and reporting of financial planning fees
    • Monthly and annual reporting projects

    Desired Skills:

    • 4-year College degree
    • 2-3 years in a professional office environment preferred, but not necessary for the right career-oriented candidate
    • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses is a plus but not required
    • FPQP, ChFC or other similar designation is a plus but not required
    • Ability to learn various software applications
    • Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Excel and Outlook
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Capacity to work in a collaborative environment and work independently
