Police Lieutenant supervises a team of police sergeants and other law enforcement support staff. Responsible for officer assignments, patrol operations, and investigations. Being a Police Lieutenant prepares and reviews reports. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed. Additionally, Police Lieutenant coordinates in-service training, staff performance evaluation and development. Requires a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or closely related field. Typically reports to a chief of police or police captain. The Police Lieutenant typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. SUMMARY
Responsible for all Billing duties within specific time frames monthly, as well as normal daily office duties.

· Receive, enter, and upload all meter reads.
· Look over reports and make necessary corrections.
· Send billing errors to field for re-reads and enter re-reads.
· Post monthly late fees.
· Send email/ paperless billing.
· Assist customers with payments and questions.
· Correct any billing errors on accounts and keep rates and charge codes updated and correct as needed.
· Preform leak/billing adjustments and send to accounting.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 years clerical experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and write any documents that may be necessary. Ability to speak effectively to customers and other employees of the Parish.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as billing rates and adjustments.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
