Power Trader is responsible for the purchase and sale of energy. Monitors energy levels and reports needs or excesses and conducts market analysis to identify fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Being a Power Trader requires knowledge of energy trading markets and trading practices. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Power Trader typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Power Trader typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. This position will provide reception duties as well as provide critical support functions for parts sales, accounting and other departments as needed.
This will be a part time position to start but may lead to a full time position. Full time employees will be eligible for benefits after standard probationary period and as described in the employee handbook.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of reception or general office experience in a professional setting.
Must have professional appearance and demeanor.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Experience with multi-line telephone system and e-mail.
Job Duties Include:
General reception duties including answer and direct phone calls, provide quality/friendly customer service.
Take and process sales orders via phone, fax, e-mail.
Provide support and backup to Office Manager as needed.
Accounts Payable duties include purchase order receiving and invoice posting.
Purchasing tasks including bid solicitation, bid review, writing purchase orders and buying under the supervision of manager.
Freight coordination including obtaining freight quotes using UPS Worldship.
Clerical tasks including data entry, filing, document preparation, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
