Flowserve Pump Division’s Commercial Operations Parts group is seeking an Interpretation of Parts & Pricing Analyst for a role in our organization, at our Moosic, PA site. In this role, the candidate will focus on all parts and activities for a given customer base such as quoting, opportunity management, parts solutions and application of quoting tools and processes to drive market consistency and quick response

Responsibilities:
- Reading & understand technical documents, drawings, and various configurations of metallurgy
- Preparation of material & labor estimates to support Aftermarket quotation proposals
- Clear documentation of all proposals to allow for clean execution at order fulfillment stage
- Interfacing with internal/external sales force, distributors, engineering and localized support teams
- Daily management of high workload with varying complexities to support a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- College 4-Year Degree or equivalent work experience within a manufacturing environment (3-5 years)
- Computer proficiency including MS Office Software (especially, being able to perform complex operations with Excel), Oracle, SAP
- Mechanical aptitude
- Engineering skill set and/or comparable work experience
- Ability to read drawings, and technical documents and skill set to develop
- Ability to compile detailed quotation proposals
- Understanding of cost & margin analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with pumps and/or pumping systems is a plus
- Understanding of 6S lean principles
- Foreign languages: Spanish, German, and Italian is beneficial
