Dark Horse Comics, the Milwaukie, Oregon Company responsible for Hellboy, Umbrella Academy, Aliens comics (and many more), is seeking a highly motivated Print Production Coordinator to join our team.

The position of the Print Production Coordinator will assist the Print Department in several areas as it relates to the production of a variety of print projects primarily focusing on print department administration and book production. The Print Production department is a high volume, responsive, and solutions-oriented team. Candidates must be highly organized, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.

 

Some of the primary responsibilities will include:

• Manage a variety of print projects, primarily comic books and reprints
• Keep detailed project records and maintain our corporate database
• Obtain detailed estimates and schedules from a variety of print suppliers
• Issue purchase orders and reconcile invoices
• Maintain relationships with our global print suppliers
• Administrative office duties, including maintaining a reference library and opening, routing, and reviewing packages

Requirements

Preferred Requirements to include:

• Associates and/or equivalent working experience
• Prefer candidates with prior printing and/or publishing experience
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to be proactive and work independently
• Excellent attention to detail

Dark Horse is currently a hybrid work environment. This position will require a minimum of 2 days per week to be on-site in our Milwaukie, OR offices and is subject to increase. Only candidates who can meet this requirement need apply. 

We are a Mac and Adobe CC environment, with Google Suite plus Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, Monday through Friday, hourly position.
