Position Summary:

The Corporate Digital Copy team at UHS is looking for motivated professionals to join our cutting edge team and contribute to the handling of copy and html updates to UHS facility websites, as requested by the facilities. 

As a Web Content Production Intern you will have the opportunity to work on real-time and meaningful projects, develop your technical skills, collaborate and network with various teams, and receive mentorship. 

Essential Job Duties:

• Participates in PR projects.

• Support the maintenance and updates of facility websites for both the Acute Care and Behavioral Health divisions.

• Gain knowledge of UHS facilities through researching the division’s websites to understand services and specialties to write accurate, on-target copy/concepts for assigned projects.

• Ensures the content of a website is optimized for a user's experience, as well as arranging, editing, and sometimes creating website content.

• Works with a mix of words, images, videos, and other media to create content for websites.

• Participate in professional development.
• Shadows employees to learn the different roles.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a related degree from accredited college or university.
• Student must be rising into senior year (at minimum, must have 1^st semester of junior year completed).
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.  ‘

• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable handling multiple assignments.   

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment.
