Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. ModVans is searching for a smart, hard working, organized, and experienced manufacturing production scheduler and manager. You will be creating and maintaining a production schedule in our MRP system and managing a small, hard working, manufacturing production team to meet your schedule. In addition, you will be helping define and iteratively refine our manufacturing process. You will report directly to our COO.
This position requires a high amount of organization and computer skills. Your interview will include a significant skills based test. This role is not for somebody new to production management. We want somebody with a track record that demonstrates all of these abilities:
We have engineers, production employees with experience, supply chains in place, and multiple completed vehicles of each model, so you won’t be jumping into something undefined. However, we are interested in your input to define our production management processes, so you will have both the freedom and responsibility to define and implement your preferred processes. We will teach you about high tech vans and you will teach us how to effectively schedule, manage and scale production.
