WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

• Providing manufacturing leadership to fully engage employees and foster a productive work environment.
• Promoting a strong safety culture where employees believe that all injuries are preventable. Investigate and prepare reports on safety near-misses, injuries and workplace hazards.
• Maintaining adherence to Company and OSHA safety standards, conduct safety workplace inspections and facilitate safety programs such as behavior-based safety observations.
• Ensuing employees receive training on procedures relating to safety, quality and production. Conduct training, cross-training and rotation of employees for product, process and employee development.
• Conducting regular crew meetings to provide production employees with the information they need to do their jobs. This includes communication of safety, quality and production changes, progress toward goals and overall plant performance.
• Working closely with other Supervisors to achieve plant SQDCP metrics.
• Developing, recommending, and implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Operate within standard operating and Quality procedures.
• Working cooperatively with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve production issues in an efficient manner and assist in the resolution of quality / production problems. Identify and eliminate root causes of problems and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Evaluating team members’ performance and provide coaching and guidance to improve employees skill-sets.
• Planning and manage scheduling for production team. Maintain employee time and attendance in Kronos. Complete shift reports.
• Assuring that a clean and safe working environment is maintained at all times.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
• MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
• High-speed manufacturing experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience of 3-5 years
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation and listening) and analytical skills
• Proven track record of operational improvement through employee engagement.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office preferred.
