Duties:
The Assistant Professor will become a team member of the faculty of Montana Technological University in the Department of Business. The successful candidate must be able to teach a variety of business courses using multiple delivery methods but will primarily focus on either the use of information technology in business decision making with specific focus on management information systems, data analytics, and enterprise resource planning software or support for all levels of the accounting curriculum. The normal teaching load is four courses per semester with the potential for course reduction given for value adding activities related to scholarship and service. Additionally, the candidate will be required to advise undergraduate students, serve on committees, and commit to professional development and/or scholarly activity. The faculty member will be evaluated for tenure and promotion purposes in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.
