The Energy Clinic is part of the Institute for Energy and the Environment (IEE), which is a national and world energy policy resource with an advanced energy law and policy curriculum focused on a clean energy future.

The visitor’s duties include teaching clinic classes year-round to juris doctor, masters, and LLM students and supervising those students in their work on transactional legal matters and a wide range of other renewable energy related projects from policy work to low-income solar project development. The visitor will report to the Director of the Energy Clinic and play a supporting role in working with the Director of the IEE and other Energy Clinic faculty in the operation of the Energy Clinic and the IEE. The visitor will join a vibrant and supportive clinical community at VLGS.

VLGS will consider applications with broadly defined expertise in energy law, land use law, and municipal government advocacy. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of or potential for strong, innovative, and engaged teaching.
