New Horizons Medical, an established Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist who wants to join our team.

Position available in: Lynn, MA

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate unit flow and monitor waiting room
• Prepare patients for an appointment by updating patient records
• Record vital sign
• Perform urine drug screens
• Provide follow up communication to patients
• Submit prior-authorizations of referrals to insurance companies
• Perform other clerical duties according to the needs of the clinic

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Evidence of successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Strong computer skills
• Detailed oriented
• Must be Multi-task
• Prior medical experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
