Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Music Director
First Congregational Church of Williamstown, Massachusetts, (https://firstchurchwilliamstown.org/) is seeking an experienced musician to lead and to grow its music program. The successful candidate will help to incorporate music into the life of the church. The main duties include the music on Sunday services and leading the choir. The Music Director must have experience directing or assisting music programs. In addition, the ideal candidate will exhibit excellence with the piano and organ, and the enthusiasm to help the church organize programs and enlist guest artists with a variety of music, instruments, and opportunities for creative musical expression.
This is an hourly position averaging 12 hours per week.
