    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Product Program Specialist is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, organizing, and implementing Girl Scouts Diamonds strategies and campaigns that support Girl Scouts, caregivers, volunteers, and staff. The Product Program Coordinator aids with the management of the Girl Scout Fall Product and Cookie Programs and all debt procedures for these programs.


    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Coordinate product programs in regional areas according to GSDAOT strategy and GSUSA guidelines
    • Aids with facilitating interactive in-person and online volunteer, staff, and caregiver training
    • Provide customer-centric support for the product program department, including working as the lead of the Product Program email inbox and maintaining a current customer solutions catalog for the product program department.
    • Work in coordination with the Product Program team to keep accurate information in Product Program platforms regarding sales, registered girls, delivery, debt, inventory, rewards, etc.
    • Acts as the lead in facilitating the Central Arkansas regional cupboard during the Girl Scout Cookie Program, including oversight of staff, daily reconciliations, and meeting volunteer needs. Ultimately, the Product Program Specialist is responsible for cupboard coverage
    • Work in coordination with the Product Program Director to assist with volunteer-led cookie cupboards, including soliciting, training, supporting, managing inventory and Smart Cookies settings, and enforcement of procedures
    • Prepares and safeguards the ACH and debt list for both product programs for review by the Product Program Director, including meeting all major submission deadlines, ensuring all departmental procedures are followed for internal documentation, and providing timely notices to debtors.
    • Work in coordination with the Product Program team to plan and facilitate Girl Scouts Gives Back week which concludes the Cookie Program
    • Acts as liaison to volunteers with solicitation and support of robust cookie booth opportunities
    • Act as subject matter expert on sales platforms (M2OS, Digital Cookie, Smart Cookies) to volunteers, caregivers, and staff and work in coordination with the Product Program team with system setup and maintenance
    • Assist with maintaining internal departmental processes and procedures that support consistency in product program management
    • Ensure the accuracy of all Product Program transactions and the safeguarding of assets (printed materials, inventory, and incentives)
    • Assist with maintaining up-to-date contact information, position paperwork, and rosters for Service Unit Product Manager volunteers
    • Aid with the creation of accurate and informative curriculum materials (program guides, print/digital resources, etc.) for the Fall Product and Cookie Programs
    • Work cross-functionally with the program department to create financial literacy programming for volunteers and Girl Scouts
    • View, decipher, and compile reports as requested to monitor trends in the Product Program
    • Assist with any other assigned responsibilities as needed

    KNOWLEDGE AND CREDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn software sales systems (M2OS, Digital Cookie, Smart Cookies)
    • Valid driver's license and safe driving record


    Preferred

    • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
    • Ability to drive transit vans or box trucks
    • Experience with accurately presenting information to large groups
    • Knowledge of Girl Scout Leadership Experience
