Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time Director for our agency to administer the programs approved by the grant. The Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the organization, including planning and implementing programs, managing budgets, fundraising, and marketing. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for community service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement programs approved by the grant, such as community events, A&D prevention in schools, marketing for teletherapy, and other relevant programs.
- Develop and manage budgets for the programs and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary limits.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support programs and the overall mission of the organization.
- Manage and supervise program staff, volunteers, and interns.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the programs and increase public awareness of the organization.
- Maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and donors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the board of directors, funders, and other stakeholders as required.
- Attend meetings and events as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field such as business administration, social work, or non-profit management, but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft preferred
- Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising strategies preferred
- Passion for community service and commitment to the organization's mission.
Work Schedule:
The Part-Time Director position is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. Some flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate occasional evening and weekend events.
