Program Director (Non-Profit) develops the programs and teams to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of a non-profit organization. Designs policies, procedures, and strategies to meet program objectives. Being a Program Director (Non-Profit) oversees program operations and leads and coordinates the activities of program teams and partners. Utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Director (Non-Profit) develops budgets and may manage the grant proposal process. Organizes and oversees fundraising and community outreach events. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Program Director (Non-Profit) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Program Director (Non-Profit) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Currently seeking a Registered Nurse, Hospice for a non-profit organization in the Edgewater MD Area. RN would be providing one on one in-home visits for end-of-life patients living in private homes across Southern Anne Arundel County
Organization is well established, with a great reputation for quality of care in the state of Maryland. Position offers great work life balance and the opportunity to spend one on one patient time!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM with NO weekends or on-call!
Benefits and Compensation for the Registered Nurse, Hospice:
- Highly competitive salary ranging from $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year depending on years of experience or qualifications
- 18 vacation days, 10 sick days, 6 holidays
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS recommended rate
- 401K with company paid match
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, Hospice:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of plan of care for end of life patients living in private homes across Southern Anne Arundel County, MD
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (physician/provider, social work, chaplain, etc) in order to provide highest level quality of care.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse, Hospice:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous clinical experience working with the geriatric patient population ideally in long term care, hospice, home health, acute care or related setting
