  • Job Purpose/Summary

    Responsible for overseeing programming for CIS School Sites through the oversite of * Program Managers (applicable to affiliate) Site Coordinators and Strategic Initiatives. Reports to the Associate Executive Director, Senior Program Director, or Executive Director and works closely with the Senior Program Director team to ensure Site Coordinators’ and *Program Managers’ oversight and development needs are met. Assists in the development of new CIS school sites. Work closely with school staff, parents/families, community agencies, and students to assure coordination of services for the benefit of the students and their families. Performs any and all reasonable and work-related duties assigned by CIS of Nevada Leadership.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Train, orientate, supervise and coach comprehensive site staff

    • Provide effective leadership to *Program Managers and Site Coordinator teams by articulating and promoting high standards of service, core values, ethics, and professional conduct.
    • Assist with development and implementation of ongoing training plan for Site Coordinators & *Program Managers including new hire training, orientation, beginning of school year training and staff meetings.
    • Assist Site Coordinators in formulating both the Needs Assessment & the School Support Plan.
    • Provide hands-on assistance to Site Coordinators in formulating and implementing campus Tier I, II, and III supports. Ensure Tier I, II, and III supports are being implemented according to the school support plan and in accordance with national standards.
    • Facilitate meetings with school site administration for approval and signatures on School Support Plan and School Support Agreement.
    • Facilitate comprehensive end-of-year site assessments.
    • Review and oversee case management documentation, follow-up, and quality assistance to students and families.
    • Provide Site Coordinators, *Program Managers, and site team with updated information regarding affiliate leadership and other organizational updates.

    Financial Responsibility

    • Maintain and oversee school budgets allocated to direct report teams of *Program Managers or Site Coordinators.
    • Administer or oversee purchases, keep records and receipts.
    • Reconcile monthly transactions & report expenses.
    • Report any discrepancies or purchase errors.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

    Manage employee performance

    • Continuously monitor staff performance measures to ensure organizational goals are being met.
    • Conduct 90 Day and Annual Performance Reviews with newly hired staff.
    • Facilitate and ensure the submittal of all applicable human resource documents to the Human Resources department.
    • Ensure proper documentation and approval of Site Coordinator semi-monthly timesheets & calendar reporting.
    • Supervise the work of Site Coordinators by regularly visiting each school site, meeting with CIS personnel and directly observing work at the site. Schedule meetings at least twice a month with each Site Coordinator.
    • Supervise the work of *Program Managers by analyzing the cohort of schools they manage and the related performance of school and student outcomes.
    • Provide coaching, feedback and suggestions for continued success or improvement for all direct reports.
    • Complete annual performance evaluations for each *Program Manager and Site Coordinator.
    • Conduct annual career development plans with staff.

    Data Responsibility

    • Work with Data Director/Manager to create and update service details in CISDM.
    • Review & share quarterly data reporting to school administrators.
    • Coordinate ongoing staff data training with Data Director/Manager.
    • Communicate Accreditation updates, training, and support needs to Data Team.
    • Monitor & provide monthly data feedback to Site Coordinators.
    • Mentor Program Managers
    • Assist Executive Leadership in onboarding new Program Manager(s) as needed and/or assigned.
    • Mentor and supervise Program Managers in the expectations of the role as assigned.
    • Meet with Program Managers regularly to ensure understanding and ongoing proficiency in site level supervision and performance management.

    Site Staff and Campus Connections

    • Communicate, develop, and maintain positive relationships with site staff/school administration.
    • Ensure coordinators and CIS are actively working to increase and strengthen campus relations, knowledge, and organizational visibility.
    • Provide Site Coordinators and *Program Managers with continual exposure to outside agency resources and training.
    • Participate as an active team member of the CIS Affiliate, through attendance and active participation in meetings, training, professional development, fundraising activities, and other activities as required.
    • Attend and participate actively in all required CIS staff meetings.
    • Organize and facilitate Site Coordinator monthly meetings.
    • Participate in CIS personal and professional development training.
    • Assist in the preparation for and execution of CIS fundraising activities and events.

    Academy Class Management Oversight

    • Monitor and assist with setting goals with school administration for Academy class outcomes.
    • Work with *Program Managers, Site coordinators and Academy team on devising and implementing a CIS Academy class plan with school administration and CIS Academy specialists to meet annual goals as determined.
    • Oversee the collection of Academy Data. Analyze results to provide insight on input on facilitation and curriculum to improve results.
    • Assist with the monitoring of the Academy budget for supplies, services, and events in collaboration with Academy specialists and Director.

    • Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to set goals, meet deadlines and evaluate results.
    • Ability to coach and motivate direct reports, manage relationships with various professionals in multiple locations with diverse needs and expectations.
    • Ability to support the strategic development of Affiliate programming.

    Qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s or higher degree. Or a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be considered.
    • Previous supervisory or management experience desirable.
    • Knowledge of data collection and proficiency tracking progress within the framework consistent with our programmatic requirement.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
    • Moderate noise levels as found in a business office and classroom setting.
    • Travel required to and from school sites.
    • Use of own automobile.
