    We are seeking a Program Management Office (PMO) Manager to join our team and support our clients in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that CMS project management standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of the project's life cycle.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Review and ensure compliance of all project / program life-cycle processes to the CMS standards and policies.
    • Maintain compliance analysis results and collaborate with project and program leads to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of CMS project management standards and policies.

    Work Experience - Required:

    • Minimum 7 years' experience involving information technology and related systems.
    • Minimum 7 years' experience with program management of one or more complex software application development efforts.
    • Show knowledge of program management tools and techniques including Earned Value Management (EVM), program and project planning, tracking, and reporting.

    Work Experience - Desired:

    • Knowledge of proposal development and the transfer of proposals into program and project plans.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline desired.

    Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

    • Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent government certification desired.

    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
    • Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
    • Experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
    • Strong writing, listening and presentation skills.

    Travel:

    • Willing to travel as needed to customer sites.

    Environmental Requirements:

    • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
    • May be required to lift to ten (10) pounds.
    • Flexible in working extended hours.
