Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Manager (Non-Profit) implements a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives. Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events publicize the organization and its programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager (Non-Profit) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Key Responsibilities Manages the assigned merchandising team’s efforts in maximizing sell-side position, trading volume and gross profit. Develops and manages cash merchandising and sell-side relationships for all commodities in an assigned region. Identifies, manages, and communicates price/bid information for assigned areas. Communicates with sales and merchandising teams regarding market conditions and trading opportunities in assigned areas. Leads the development and delivery of sales training programs for the assigned segment or line of business. Identifies new and/or modifies existing strategies and/or merchandising methods to meet or exceed volume goals reflected in growth plans. What is expected of you and others at this level Has deep understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market or the needs/challenges of assigned accounts Develops colleagues’ and customers’ understanding Recognized as an expert in one or more areas Complexity is extremely high (territory/account, product/services, sales or account management process); serves as a team lead Has extremely high authority and opportunity to set and negotiate product and service terms Minimum Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred 7-10 years’ relevant experience required This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
