Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various steel/precast projects. Your role will involve managing project schedules, working with foremen, PM's, subcontractors ensuring that projects are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in the structural steel industry.
Duties:
- Travel to various jobsites to manage and oversee multiple projects assisting foremen with anything they may need on site and project managers in the office with an array of tasks
-Assist unloading material on jobsite (if required) using all terrain forklift, boom lift or other mobile equipment (training provided)
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution
- Assist with quality control of each job including research drawing details to ensure work in place meets drawing requirements
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore (using an IPAD) to upload daily jobsite reports
