Program Specialist (Non-Profit) jobs in Georgia

Reputable Non-Profit organization is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic experienced Event Specialist to be part of their team on a temporary project. Remote role! 3 months contract. Local candidates only!

The Event Specialist works with organization’s project director and Resource Development team on volunteer coordination of donor volunteers. Works with host affiliate on coordinated messaging and volunteer management. Remote within metro-Atlanta area. Must be able to go into organization’s Atlanta HQ for meetings, as needed.

The Event Specialist Responsibilities:

• Volunteer coordination in partnership with host affiliate.
• Works with organization’s Resource Developing team on sponsor volunteer management.
• Works with organization’s project director on construction leader volunteer coordination, messaging, fee payments and assignments.
• Helps with project schedules and timelines.
• Works with affiliate volunteer coordinator on joint volunteer messaging and communication.

The Event Specialist Requirements:

• 3 years of volunteer management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Previous experience managing volunteers or groups.
• Scheduling/timeline knowledge preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
