Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, the Project Administrator is responsible for a wide variety of duties including, and not limited to, the general day-to-day office administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with multiple Project Managers to administer project related activities including creating project specifications, advertising projects in various publications and creating contract documents.
- Prepare a variety of reports and correspondence.
- Proficiency in project scheduling, cost engineering, and project controls methods and tools
- Drafting and communicating with Sub Vendors on contracts and various other requests
- Familiarity with finance and accounting systems
- Producing Invoices for Monthly Billing for Various Clients
- Calling and Collecting on Accounts Receivables
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Responsible for the accurate input of project, financial, and marketing data
- Maintain contact with clients and outside vendors
- Exercise considerable judgment on confidential or technical information
- Make occasional trips to deliver or obtain items.
- Fill in and/or assist current Admin staff with various duties as necessary.
Requirements:
- Four years’ experience in a consulting engineering or construction administrative capacity.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge in MS Office tools, with emphasis on the advanced use of Word and MS Excel in creating and maintaining detailed and interactive spreadsheets, documents and databases. Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels
- Possess strong analytical skills.

- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and on a team, demonstrating initiative where appropriate.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information to staff, and clients in a professional manner.
- Ability to occasionally travel to other WK Dickson offices to support critical project needs
