Job Summary:
Trane has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Project Administrator in our Florence, SC location.
Under direct supervision, the Service Project Administrator is responsible for routine project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of each project. This position is required to closely interact with the Area Service Manager and assigned service team members to ensure the timely completion of each project.
Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Works with manager to ensure that monthly invoicing targets are met. Ensures that all completed jobs are invoiced promptly and accurately.
• Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
• Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
• Communicates effectively with other team members.
• Work closely with senior service leader, admin team lead, account managers, field service team leads, project manager and area service manager to manage the flow of jobs once they are completed in the field.
• Cross train for coverage of the Resource Coordinator position when staffing needs arise.
• May include management of service agreement base, invoicing, material and labor costing, and processing new and renewed service agreements.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED and up to two (2) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks such as problem solving, decision making, rational thinking, and exercising good judgement.
• Experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with financial systems and basic accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, an asset.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, in addition to strong computer application and document management skills.
• Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
• Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
Base Pay Range: $58,000 - 60,000 yearly
This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Florence, SC location. Flexible work from home options available.
