About this Position:
Develop and maintain schedules on parallel projects to launch new and updated powersports products to production in a manner that prevents negative impact.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain department new model specified action plans.
* Review and track design changes impacting Weld.
* Determine change point impact to department and set reaction plan.
* Make basic jig specs and procurement of tools/fixtures required for new model implementation.
* Confirm BOM accuracy.
* Create department budget for new model projects.
* Create and maintain master parts list/parts illustration.
* Create and maintain drawings for out-source of Weld Comps.
* Prepare and give presentations on project status as needed to upper management.
Who we are seeking:
Required Experience:
* Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (analytics and/or project management experience, including Production/Purchasing/Quality roles)
* Additional years of experience may be required based on education.
Required Education:
* Associates Degree in an Engineering or Technical Field (Bachelors Preferred) or equivalent experience.
Other job specific skills:
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an individual or part of a team to manage parallel projects while working with minimal supervision.
Additional Position Factors:
* Must have the ability and willingness to work additional overtime hours without advanced notice with potential travel on short notice.
* Must be able to work flexible hours and weekend when needed to maintain schedule.
