Proof Operator performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Operates a proof machine which encodes and endorses checks and deposits. Being a Proof Operator finds errors and makes appropriate reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections. May be responsible for batching and distribution. Additionally, Proof Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Proof Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position at Pilgrim's Job duties include :
Once processing is complete the room and processing equipment will be cleaned and sanitized. No residual egg shell or dust should be left on the equipment or the floor at the end of any processing day.
Once the vacuum tank has been dumped the vacuum tank lid, walls, I-beam structure, and concrete should be washed down completely.
If the lid is not washed everyday it will leak and we will lose suction from the system.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT : High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. EOE / Vet / Disabled
