The position assists the QA Manager in assessing Food Safety and Quality related to all aspects of the facility and provides quality and food safety leadership to QA Lab Analysts. They serve as a liaison in the development and preservation of the plant’s food safety culture. The Sr. Analyst will participate/lead initiatives to improve products and processes related to quality, food safety and consistency. They will audit the facility and food quality system and assist with external audit preparation and related activities. This person will act as acting QA Manager in their absence.

Working Conditions/Environment:
Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, lift, reach, and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to stand up to an 10-hour shift (sometimes longer) with regular breaks, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts, and equipment. Earplugs hairnets and slip resistant shoes are required per company and plant GMP and Safety requirements.
