The Quality Assurance Manager coordinates, plans, and oversees all quality assurance activities within the lab, ensuring adherence to rigorous testing standards. This role involves developing and maintaining quality assurance manuals, training laboratory staff in critical quality control requirements, and monitoring quality assurance data for necessary corrective actions.

The manager is responsible for enforcing compliance with lab safety regulations, raw material release, finished goods release, conducting internal audits, and developing process control systems.

Additionally, the position contributes to achieving key performance indicators by providing insights and analyses for strategic planning, while also identifying and resolving issues, conducting audits, and implementing improvement plans.

Financial objectives are met through budgeting, expenditure analysis, and corrective actions. Human resource objectives involve recruiting, selecting, training, and managing QA and QC technicians and scientists to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance are maintained throughout the organization

• Direct efforts for effective implementation of Quality Program and Production Performance Improvement.
• Monitor and communicate with Operations regarding quality improvement trends, assisting in the development of improvement plans.
• Lead Monthly Quality and Food Safety Team Meetings.
• Collaborate with R&D to establish raw material and finished goods standards/specifications by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements, negotiating with suppliers, and devising testing methods.
• Coordinate, plan, and manage quality assurance activities of the lab, ensuring all standards for quality in testing are met.
• Oversee the development, preparation, and maintenance of quality assurance manuals and modified methods for HPLC, titration, moisture, density, viscosity, rheological analytical equipment.
• Maintain relationships, submit samples, and collaborate with third-party accredited laboratories.
• Ensure all laboratory staff are trained in critical requirements of quality control.
• Monitor quality assurance data, initiate corrective actions as required, and perform investigations of quality concerns.
• Facilitate and manage finished goods positive release and process control systems.
• Achieve quality assurance KPIs by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meet quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Accomplish quality assurance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining QA and QC technicians and scientists
