    Summary:
    The Quality Improvement Data Analyst assists in obtaining accurate data collection, data entry and data reporting functions for the Corvallis Clinic quality management and improvement programs.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Caregiver document. To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within.

    2. Partners with quality team members in the maintenance of an organizational performance measurement system.

    3. Supports the day-to-day operations for data collection, analysis and submission required for clinical quality improvement monitoring and reporting.

    4. Maintains accurate documentation for quality analytics and reporting.

    5. Monitors, tracks, and measures data sets regarding patient safety, quality measures, re-admissions, and other performance improvement initiatives and actively cross-collaborates with stakeholders regarding this data.

    6. Monitors and pulls reports for patient experience data submission and results.

    7. Assists in the compilation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using statistical tools and techniques.

    8. Prepares and reviews data as required for reporting to Quality Director, Program Coordinator, TCC stakeholders and external quality program requirements.

    9. Works closely with Quality Improvement Director and Program Coordinator to facilitate accountability and ongoing improvement of quality metrics.

    10. Contributes to quality improvement documents and reports, including but not limited to: QI project documents, quality reports, clinic dashboards, metrics, and meeting minutes.

    11. Maintains organized records for all projects.

    Education, Licensure, and Experience:
    1. Associate degree in a Computer Science, Healthcare Research, Healthcare or related field required; equivalent education and training may substitute. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    2. Experience and/or training in keyboarding, word processing, database management and the use of all Microsoft Windows programs required.

    3. Experience with retrieving and displaying data in usable formats that are actionable from a customer’s perspective preferred.

    4. Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

    5. Allied Health Worker preferred.

    6. Awareness of the principles of CMS, HEDIS, NCQA, SDoH and HIPAA.

    Knowledge and skills:
    1. Ability to work compatibly with physicians, patients, and other staff.

    2. Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues.

    3. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.

    4. Knowledge of medical practice, quality management techniques, methodology, data collection techniques and systems.

    5. Skilled in data collection, analysis, and reporting of applicable data.

    6. Excellent computer skills.

    7. Time management skills.
