We are looking for a Practice Manager to join our team! West Volusia Family and Sports Medicine is a primary practice that has been taking care of the greater Deland/Orange City area for the last 13 years! As we are growing, we are looking for a individual with great clinical and managerial skills. This role will be working alongside our clinical staff to help assist with the patient flow and our day to day operations. 

Minimum Requirements

• Medical Assistant - preferred (not required)
• Proficient with computers, medical equipment, electronic medical records,
• E-Clinical Works preferred. 
• 2 years of experience managing clinic staff
• Billing and  Coding preferred

Education

• High School Diploma
• Medical Assistant Certification, or equivalent

• Flexibility with an innovative and growing practice in a dynamic industry

MA MANAGER KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all key functions and responsibilities of Medical Practice
• Assist management in the onboarding of new Medical Assistants, and Back Office staff
• Serve as Preceptor for newly hired Medical Assistants and Back Office staff
• Coordinate with Management on the approval of time off, sick calls and scheduling of staff
• Oversee workflow and supervise Medical Assistants and Front Desk staff
• Deploy training, retraining and skills testing as needed to maintain top performance of staff
  
• Assist management with staff meetings, in-service meetings and company events
• Attend management meetings and training sessions
• Coordinate with Physicians and Management to provide staff when needed in critical areas of the clinic
• Review and report on the performance of MA’s and front desk
• Coordinate with Providers to manage care of patients
