  • Tuttle & Associates, LLC is a real estate law firm, serving clients in all of South Carolina and much of North Carolina. Our niche business is real estate closings and legal issues revolving around manufactured and modular homes. We currently have a staff of 12 people and are acquiring new clients at a rapid pace because of our firm’s reputation for excellence as well as the expertise that we have acquired in working in this specific business. We currently have three offices, with our main infrastructure set up in Greenville, SC, and satellite offices for closings in Asheville, NC, and Charleston, SC. Our attorneys split their time between being in the Greenville office and traveling to closings throughout the Carolinas. Because of our growth and success, we are looking for the right individual to join the team who will bring a positive, go-getter attitude to the table and express a willingness to learn and be flexible with a growing firm. A future partnership would be available to the right person in the future depending on quality of work, ability to bring in new clients, and customer-service mindset. If a potential candidate would have a book of business that they could bring with them to our firm, that would be preferable and commissions would be offered for additional business brought in as well.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Attorney will be responsible for presiding over SC & NC real estate settlements on behalf of Tuttle & Associates
    • Work with Tuttle & Associates paralegals throughout the pre-closing process to ensure that closings occur as quickly as possible
    • Supervise paralegals to certify titles, preside over closings, record documents, and disburse funds from closing.
    • Attorney will be expected to work primarily out of the Greenville office and travel approximately 75% of the time to closings in SC and NC.
    • Additional general practice duties will be assigned by managing attorney.
    • Attorney will work directly with managing attorney to train on real estate closings, and specifically manufactured home/modular home real estate closings.

    Job Requirements:

    • *We are looking for an attorney who is licensed in both SC and NC and who has a real estate background. Consideration may be given to the right individual who has a license either in SC or NC alone, especially if candidate is already working toward being licensed in both states.
